"This was a wonderful experience connecting with other women and I found writing down how I feel is a tool I will take with me from this workshop. A meaningful piece of the workshop for me was the metaphor of tossing the rocks, learning to release the things I wrote on them that weigh me down. "

"It was absolutely wonderful!! The most meaningful part of this all that I took with me was how Amie explained resilience using the metaphor of a rubber band. That was something new I learned and which is exactly where I am at this point in my life, learning to bounce back."

"The workshop was fun and relaxing and was so nice to take some time for myself and focus on the everyday stresses I didn't realize I was carrying. One thing that I plan to take with me from this is taking the time to reflect on my troubles in life once in awhile."

"Attending the "What's In Your Purse" was a meaningful and empowering experience. The workshop created a safe and welcoming space to be vulnerable and connect with other women through honest conversations and thoughtful activities. One insight that I took away from this was that we are all carrying similar burdens that become lighter when shared aloud. Our shame becomes less powerful and we become more resilient and hopeful. The most meaningful piece of this all was sharing personal insights and challenges with other woman and realizing that we are all connected through those experiences."
